Hand crafted, exquisitely detailed, durable and timeless…each Le Forge piece is individually forged by our own crafts people and then hand finished to achieve our superior Le Forge look.
Polished or Galvanised?
Authentic Le Forge steel furniture products are polished for indoor use and galvanised for outdoor use (and sometimes for inside use if near salt water and salt air).
Galvanising is a chemical reaction treatment to the metal to inhibit effects of climate.
To provide years of enjoyment from your Le Forge furniture, we offer the best treatment available - our products are fully immersed in a hot galvanising bath to ensure the best possible protection against the elements, the item is then hand painted and rubbed back to give a timeless, aged pewter effect.
Our Rust finish is available as a special order on many of our chairs and tables. The product is put through a natural rusting process, then a sealer coat is applied. Products with a rust finish require further maintainence if using outdoors. We can advise further at time of ordering.
Our painted Tin products, such as the Champagne tin top Table, Maison tin top Table and Gardeners Chairs are recommended for indoor use only.
